The deadline for the international competition to develop the architectural appearance of the Ostrov Mechty and Zagorye metro stations of the Biryulyovskaya line has passed.
The list of participants includes 7 consortia and 56 individual contestants.
Most of the applicants are from 11 regions of Russia. The leader in terms of the number of companies is Moscow – 45, followed by St. Petersburg – 12, Nizhny Novgorod – two, one each from Vladivostok, Vladikavkaz, Volgograd, Domodedovo Moscow Region, Yekaterinburg, Kaluga, Rostov-on-Don, Yakutsk and Yaroslavl. Companies from Tashkent, Sukhum and Riga will also take part in the competition.
The quality and feasibility of the projects will be assessed by a professional jury chaired by Andrey Bochkaryov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow in the Moscow Government for Urban Planning Policy and Construction 20 May.
