On June 14, an Introductory seminar was held for the finalists of the International Competition for the development of the architectural appearance of two Moscow Metro stations.
Representatives of the Moscow Committee for Architecture and Urban Planning, the Mosinzhproekt Group of Companies, and the Organizing Committee of the competition took part as experts.
The Introductory seminar is a significant part of the competition process, and it is required for the Finalists to clearly understand the expected design concepts of the future metro stations.
Detailed information on the competition sites was provided to the finalists. They were interested in the design aspects of the competition metro stations and the requirements for them as particular transport infrastructure facilities. The contestants familiarized themselves with the technical parameters of the stations: the locations of passages and the requirements for construction solutions, finishing materials, and lighting.
